q&a

"I really like this jacket from River Island but it's too expensive, could you find a cheaper alternative for me please?"

The aviator style is one of the biggest trends this season, and with the weather gradually getting cooler, what better way is there to keep you warm?

This jacket from River Island is absolutely gorgeous but it is a little bit expensive.
You could try looking in the normal high street shops like New Look, Dorothy Perkins or Miss Selfridge to see what you could find. I would say look in Topshop but their jackets cost so much. The one on the right is from Primark - I know it's not exactly the same but it is similar and it's wayyy cheaper! It has the same detail with the fur and the colour, the only main differences is the elasticated waist on the Primark jacket and the buckles on the River Island one.

If I were to buy one I would spend the extra money for the River Island one just because it would probably last twice as long as the Primark jacket and I tried it on the other day and I loved it!

Black Faux Leather Jacket - River Island - £59.99
Aviator Jacket - Primark - £23.00

get the look: winter boho

This is my favourate look right now. The gorgeous stitch on the skirt is so wintery and I love waist bands like this. I'm so happy that denim jackets have stayed on trend for A/W, the one I have is practically identical to the one in this photo.

I don't have the exact bag, snood or boots in this picture but I have similar items. I have a lovely knitted black scarf that everyone should have somewhere - mines from years ago. The boot's I have are completely different to the ones featured, but any black boots will go lovely with this outfit. I also suggest putting either a pair of leggings or tights with this outfit because of weather reasons and they will also look super cute! I also have a little black satchel - like the scarf, everyone has a black bag somewhere. If you haven't and you want a cheap one, I suggest Primark or even better charity shops.
All I have to do is get this skirt, (which I plan on doing on my next pay day) and I will have this complete outfit! Is it weird that I'm actually excited?

Tall Denim Crop Jacket - Topshop - £40.00
Stitch Skirt - New Look - £20.00
Knitted Snood - New Look - £7.99
Black Faux Suede Ankle Stud Boots - £34.99 - River Island
Black Large Bag - Mischa Barton - £69.00

thrifting

Yesterday I went shopping with my mother, (yes I still go shopping with my mother). We went in a couple of charity shops, not really expecting to find anything special, just for a look really. To my surprise, in one I found a black leather look satchel which I loved as soon as I saw it, it was £1.50! I grabbed it and bought it.
Then I went in another and found a vintage look denim jacket that had hardly been worn and it was £3.00! I saw one that looked similar on eBay that I was going to buy for £20.00. This may sound cheesy but finding things that I have wanted for a while at that price made my day!
I seriously suggest for everyone to start "thrifting". Someone inspired me to do it so I'm hoping to do the same.

my desires - part three

First of all I would like to apologize for neglecting my blog recently. I have started a new job and school started this week and I'm starting A Level so I have to put a lot of time into my work now. I will of course try my best to post as often as I can

Now back on to the post. The first item featured is a gorgeous yet weird ring. It's so unusual and I think that's why I love it so much. Turquoise jewellery always seems to catch my eye. It's one of my favourate colours so that may be why. It's very angelic.
Next is a strapless chiffon dress. It doesn't look as good now as it does on the model. I love the ruffles at the top of the dress and how the dress just, falls. The colour is stunning as well and would go well with different skin tones.
Mmmm Chanel. This bag is flawless. Then again, most Chanel bags are flawless. I especially love this one because it's a backpack. I'm obsessed with them at the moment. If I ever buy a Chanel bag, then I will know that I have made it. I am literally in love with the bag, but I hate the price tag!
So at the moment I am addicted to anything camel. This bag comes in a range of different colours but the camel one is my favourate. I like the detail on the bag and the fact that it's not too in your face, it's subtle. This would easily look good with a lot of different outfits and fits right in for the A/W trends.
I am actually tempted to buy these earrings! I love them! They are absolutely gorgeous. They're so simple but they have a sweet vintage touch. The price isn't actually that bad either, which is always good.
Slingbacks seem to be the next big thing for heels. Courts are very popular right now but their a bit samey-same. I love the simplicity of these, just a simple black - yet they're sexy at the same time. These stood out to me because they are so elegant and classy.
Disney Couture is one of my favourate jewellery brands. I am a big, big, Big fan of Disney and to be able to wear the little mermaids castle around my neck is awesome! I'm like a big kid... I love the detail in the pendant! It's just beautiful.
I'm not normally a big fan of jumpsuits, but this one is lovely. It's so floaty and simple. It would be so easy to dress it up or down. Stella McCartney is an amazing designer and here she shows off how something plain and simple can be so enchanting.

Turquoise Double Cluster Ring - Juicy Couture - £86.00
Strapless Silk Chiffon Dress - ChloĆ© - £2,691.00
Vintage Black Quilted Backpack - Chanel - £1,755.00
Frag Quilted Leather Bag - Sara Berman - £175.00
Vintage 1980 Gold Tone Earrings - Valentino - £175.00
Leather Slingbacks - Christian Louboutin - £605.00
"The Little Mermaid" 14ct Gold Plated Necklace - Disney Couture - £50.00
Pleated Silk Crepe Jumpsuit - Stella McCartney - £1,145.00

shopping list: camel

Camel is the colour that everyone is talking about. Celebrities are constantly seen in the calm and collected colour, Vogue cannot stop talking about it and it is supposed to be the colour of the autumn/winter season along with khaki. I love that it's a natural colour that will go with a lot of clothes in everyone's closet. Coats and accessories are most wanted right now, their in demand more than camel tee's or trousers which are gradually getting more popular. I'd love a pair of tapered camel trousers to be honest, but mostly, I want a camel coat. I love the one featured.

*First are a pair of loafer's. I've never really been fussed on these, but as of lately, they're making me love them. The pair featured are gorgeous, the tassel detail is stunning and makes the loafers stand out.
*Next is a leather purse which is sooo cheap! And it looks super expensive as well. I like the way the leather is cut and it has a vintage look to it.
*Court shoes are so on trend right now, so a pair of them in the most popular colour of the season will definitely boost your style.
*This trench coat is absolutely gorgeous! Topshop tend to always make amazing trenches but they tend to be a bit pricey. If you want one similar to this but for a fraction of the price, I saw one in H&M for £24.99.
*Everyone should have a tan/camel waist belt. I wear mine with so much it's crazy. This one is once again really expensive so if you want something similar but cheaper, I suggest looking in H&M or Primark.
*I really like this hair band. I'm not sure whether it would suit me or not though because I have brunette hair, I'll have to try it on in store and see what it's like and whether it clashes or not. I like that it's leather instead of a cotton fabric which always looks cheap to me. It's nice to see something different.
*Over the knee socks are essential for A/W! Their constantly on catwalks. If you see some of my previous posts about Zara and Alexander Wang, you can see how much they effect an outfit and give it that extra bit of edge. These socks are beautiful, the print it amazing!
*Last but definitely not least is the leather satchel. I'm a sucker for satchels, but normally I like cross body ones. This one is a shoulder bag and that makes it a little different to every other satchel. I like the straps and buckles on this, once again it gives it a vintage look.

I honestly cannot choose my favourate items from this list. I literally can't. Their all stunning.

Tan Tassel Trim Loafer - Miss Selfridge - £40.00
Leather Scalloped Edge Purse - ASOS - £15.00

brown wedges

Wedges are so popular right now, especially dark brown ones. They have so many advantages. One - they're comfortable. Two - they look amazing. Three - They go with just about anything! That's without the benefit of making you taller and slimmer. Genius.

The first ones are probably my favourate ones out of them all, the strappy studded ones. I love the chocolate shade of brown and the fact that they look super expensive, like they could be designer. Next are some lower wedges and these are my second favourate. Their very sweet looking and are completely different to all the other wedges shown. My third favourate pair is the buckled wedges. The colour of the photo on the website is a bit lighter than they are in the store - I saw them the other day and they were darker. I like these because like the first pair, they look high fashion and like they could be designer.

I like all the other wedges too, I put some "boot" wedges on here so there's a bit of variety, and boots can be very uncomfortable but I have a pair of boots like these and like any pair of wedges, they're really nice to walk in. I also like the studded cork wedges a lot - I think they will go lovely with beach wear.

Chocolate Peep Toe Wedges - Next - £55.00
Taupe Ruched Platform Wedges - Next - £55.00
Chocolate Low Wedges - Next - £35.00
Brown Multi Buckle Wedges - Dorothy Perkins - £42.00
GEORGETTE Ankle Strap Wedges - Topshop - £60.00
Slouch Wedge Boot - New Look - £25.00
Dark Brown Studded Cork Wedges - Red Herring - £28.00

bag a bargain

Just another sale alert here. This is a Marc B bag from Topshop that was £35.00 and is now £17.00. I love this bag because even though their not, as popular anymore, quilted bags are still good for everyday or evening wear and I think everyone should have one in their wardrobe. I have this exact bag in cream and it's useful because it goes with a practically everything and gives most outfits a bit of edge.

This bag is called The Little Venice by Marc B** and is on topshop.com.

p.s. Sorry if I'm not blogging as much. I started my first job on Friday and I have a very busy few weeks ahead of me so will try to post as often as possible.

zara

Zara has become one of my latest weaknesses. I never used to go in the store because I thought it was too expensive, but it really isn't. You just pay for what you get, quality. Unlike Topshop, the clothing in Zara is worth the money you pay. I cannot wait until I get my first pay day so I can give Zara a visit.

Here are some of  my favourate outfits from Zara's new lookbook.

perfect outfits: topshop

The first outfit is adorable. It's so summery and perfect for everyday casual wear. The jersey like tee is simply amazing! It's then worn with a denim dungaree to give it a retro 70s look. Personally I love it and if I could pull this outfit off I would buy it right now. I also love the sunglasses with this outfit, they add more edge. I then love the tan bag. Tan accessories will bring this outfit together and give it a modern mix. I adore this outfit!!

This is my favourate outfit of the three. The lace pink leotard goes amazing with the high waist shorts and the colours are bold and bright. Then to calm and complement the leotard and shorts, there is this ditsy fall down cardi. With a neutral off white colour and a gorgeous print, this calms the outfit down a bit and gives it a pretty and sweet look. Then again with tan accessories. It's this seasons favourate colour for them so go all out. Shoes, bags and bracelets are a good start. Add a trilby hat and this outfit is flawless!

So this is a more simple outfit. I love the military shirt, the sleeves are amazing. Their really long and they look like their just flowing. The off White colour is also stunning. Here it is buttoned to the top and tucked into some city shorts. Here an oversized bag is added and this will make your waistline look smaller. Add some tan shoes to complete the look.

q&a

"I'm looking for a maxi dress that isn't to expensive, can you help me find one please?"

I love maxi dresses! Their so comfortable and easy to wear, their so easy to dress up or down too.
Another great thing about them is that the style's and prints vary so much. There are romantic, vintage-y cotton and lace maxi dresses, stream lined jersey numbers, flowing floral maxis, relaxed silk versions and a scattering of bold, graphic prints in there too.

Here are a few reasonably priced ones that I found. My favourate ones are the first and last dresses. The print's are gorgeous and summery, yet their still wearable for the autumn.
Then my next favourate one is the plain white one. It can be worn with a blazer, denim jacket, a little cardi - with heels, flats, boots - you can do so much with this one dress.
Then my third favourate the black one. I would wear this going out because it's more for evening wear than everyday/casual. The neck chain detail is so, so pretty and this dress would be very easy to accessorize.

Rachel Flower Print Maxi Dress - Boohoo - £15.00
Black Chain Maxi Dress - Dorothy Perkins - £10.00
Floral Printed Maxi Dress - Miss Selfridge - £10.00
White Maxi Dress - Dorothy Perkins - £12.00
Tribal Print Maxi - Oli.co.uk - £18.00

my desires - part two

This month is a little different to last months. Last month everything was pretty, this month has gone a tad bit edgier with the studded heels and the D&G tee.

So first up is the ring. As soon as I saw this I knew it would be up on my next desires post, so here it is. I think it's gorgeous, would go with anything and is so romantic.

The bag. Ah the bag. I want it. A lot! I love a lot of Chloe bags, most of them are sensational, but this one stood out to me. Why? The vintage satchel look of course. Like the previous item this bag would basically go with anything in your closet. It's just stunning.

I'm not the biggest fan of D&G clothing, or the bags actually, but this tee stood out to me. I really like it. The bad thing is though is that it reminds me of the Exposure collection at Topshop. Not that it's copied it (it's probably the opposite), but maybe if I was wearing this people may think that I got it for twenty quid there when really it's very expensive. So if £115.00 for a tee was pocket change for me, then I would buy it, but I don't think it's worth splurging out on.

I like the fact that nerdy things are in right now, being a math geek it makes me feel slightly cooler... I really like these nerdy glasses. Mostly because of the colour. The brown effect is really sweet and gives the glasses a girly edge. Most people that I know who wears glasses like these wear the 3D glasses and just pop the lenses out, but I hate them without the lenses in. It looks weird. But these, I loveeee!

This necklace really stood out to me. The ditsy pendant isn't something I've seen before, so it's nice to see something different. I also like the yellow gold, it'd once again a bit different. This is a very sweet necklace.

Last but not least, the shoes! Mmmmmmm. I love them. Their the sort of shoes that I love to look at, but would have no here to wear them. I love the girly colour mixed with grungy/gothic studs. It's a good mix.

The item I want most out of all is the love bird ring, it's so, so sweet!

Alex Monroe Love Bird Ring - Benna - £145.00
Chloe Darla Shoulder Bag  - Chloe.com - £1,065.00
D&G Betty Page Tee - Harvey Nichols - £115.00
Super Tortoisheshell Glasses - Goodhood - £134.00
Vintage Channel Gold Necklace - ASOS - £1,220.00
Court Stud Platforms - Kurt Geiger - £180.00

alexa chung

If I see Alexa Chung's name anywhere, I immediately think... Fashion! Flawless fashion. What I would give to have her closet....

So summer is slowly coming to an end, which means so are all the festivals. I seriously hope festival trends don't go out though! This is one of my favourate festival outfits.

I'm a little disappointed that I couldn't find a shirt like the one Alexa has on because I love it, but if anybody has found one, please give me the link!
So my alternatives aren't even similar to the shirt in the picture but they still give the same style of outfit.

The shortsss! Gah! I love them! They have the whole pocket's sticking out thing and that I am obsessed with at the moment. The shade of the shorts are a perfect match to the white shirt and have a vintage look to them. The shorts that I have provided are two different shades and one is a hotpant and one is longer than the usual short, if your not comfortable on showing your bum. Personally I prefer the hotpant because I like the shape and structure of them.

The shoes Alexa is wearing are incredibly cute, but obviously if your going to Reading or Leeds festival next weekend, I suggest wellies. Comfortable and rainproof, (and they won't get ruined by the mud).
The alternatives I provided for the shoes are quite similar, and I gave a high wedge, low wedge and flats. My favourate are the high wedges, they have a really grungy look and would give any outfit a gothic edge.

I haven't given an alternative for the bag because, well, frankly I dislike it. But that's my personal taste. I'm sure if you want to find a leopard print bag it should be easy enough.

Cream/Purple Check Shirt - Dorothy Perkins - £25.00

Vintage Hotpants - Topshop - £25.00

q&a

"I'm looking for a Cardigan to go back to school and one to wear everyday. My uniform code is black. Could you help please?"
So I thought I would do the everyday cardigans first. The ones I have chosen are wooly and nice and warm, as well as being able to go with a variety of different outfits.

So the first cardigan is as you can tell very wooly and looks so warm and comfortable, as well as stylish and on trend. The ginger red colour is really pretty but it could be a problem because it may not go with a lot of things.
The second cardigan looks much better on a close up photo, so I suggest going on the website to look at this cardi because it really is stunning. The best thing about this one is that it should go with just about anything in your wardrobe as it is an off white colour and I love the detail of the shoulders.
The third is a very thick wooly cardi with cute wooden buttons. This would once again go with practically anything.
The last one is very cute and ditsy. I chose this because I love the skirt detail at the bottom, and I love the colour. If you have a lot of creams in your wardrobe then this would go lovely with them and it would also go lush with some light denim jeans.

My favourate cardigan is probably the third one. I love the old granny look to it and the black bits mixed with the taupe. Also the wooden buttons are gorgeous and gives the cardi a vintage and expensive look.

Knitted Diamond Stitch Cardi - Topshop - £42.00
Crochet Doiley Cardi - Miss Selfridge - £40.00
Knitted Textured Slouch Cardi - Topshop - £40.00
Mink Spot Hem Cardi - Miss Selfridge - £35.00

Here are the cardigans that I picked for back to school. I tried not to pick boring or plain ones because you can get them easily from stores like new look or if your on a tight budget, Tesco or Asda because I've seen some cute ones there recently for amazing prices. For really nice plain ones though I recommend Zara. That's where I have always got my plain cardi's from (In my school, were not allowed anything on our jumpers or cardi's).

The first cardi is really unique, I've never seen feathers like this on the high street and it gives it a designer edge. So the cardi is quite simple but with the shoulder detail it makes it a bit special and I think if you had this cardi, you would have people asking you where it's from and how much they like it.
Second is a simple yet different cardi. I really like this and it looks so good on the model on the website, so just click on the link and take a look at how good it looks on. This could easily be worn for casual wear as well as school uniform.
Next is a cardi that I have seen on a person at my school and it looked really good with the school polo shirt underneath. It looks white plain but the "waterfall" detail is flawless and falls nicely, which makes your waist look tiny.
Last is the military style cardi, if you want to add a bit of edge to your school uniform then I suggest this. The tassel detail is really cute and like the first cardi, I haven't seen this much on cardi's on the high street.

My favourate cardi is the second one with the white trim. I really love looking at this on the model and how well it goes with casual clothes as well as uniform. Also when you look below you will see how amazing the price is which is another reason to buy it right now!

Feather Shoulder Cardi - Oasis - £50.00
Amber Contrast Trim Jersey Cardigan - Boohoo - £8.00
Cropped Waterfall Cardi - Topshop - £25.00
Trudy Stud and Tassle Cardigan - Boohoo - £15.00

bargain of the week

I have decided to do a bargain of the week post, so here it goes.
This week it is an animal print playsuit with a military twist. Animal print is set to be massive this Autumn/ Winter and with a budget-friendly price tag, this has to be the ultimate bargain for the new season.
This playsuit is £13.00 and from Primark. Happy shopping.

vintage jewellery

I'm obsessed with vintage look jewellery. Anything brassy or a dusty gold is a must have for me.

One place where I always buy my jewellery is Accessorize, which is where all these pieces are from. My favourate piece is the shield bracelet, it's gorgeous! Then my second favourate piece is the key necklace.  It's got such an old look to it and it's so quirky. Third is the gold cuff. I love the flower center and the detail on the actual cuff.
All of this jewellery can be a little expensive, especially from Accessorize, so if you want to find some antique jewellery for cheap, I suggest thrift shops or charity shops. I bought a gorgeous dusty gold cuff from one the other day for £3.00 and I can't stop wearing it.

Another place that I buy my jewellery is Topshop, but with Topshop jewellery, the gold colour fades really fast, so unless their really cheap I won't buy jewellery from there anymore.

get the look: river island

You gotta love River Island. Their getting better and better by the day. I have to admit, I found this outfit on their "get a look" page and I couldn't resist but to put it on here because it is so amazing. They have gone so vintage! I remember when they were full of neon colours and tacky clothes, but now, I want to own the whole store.

So this blouse is my favourate item. I want it so bad! The "tea bag" colour is amazing and I love the lace and button detail. It gives it a vintage/victorian look. But then it's paired with some high waisted shorts which are gorgeous and also keep it up to date and trendy. Wear with sunglasses and a pair of ankle boots and your set.

One problem is that the prices are slightly high, but you can always look around for alternatives. You could get a pair of denim shorts from Primark, I have a pair of ankle boots from New Look and they were only £20.00 and I love them (and their a fraction of the River Island price). The blouse I think you would have to get from river Island, unless you did some thrifting to try and find a vintage one.

Lace and Button Blouse - £29.99
High Waisted Shorts - £29.99
Oversized Sunglasses - £12.99
Faux Fur Cuff Ankle boots - £74.99

trilby hats

I am a big fan of trilby hats. They seem to be the only hats that look good on me. I love that for one hat, there are so many different styles and types. Different colours, different ribbons accessorizing it and some with bows, feathers or corsages.

I own one similar to the hat in the bottom left corner. It had black ribbon when I bought it but I then got different coloured ribbons so I can swap them when I feel like it so it could go with a range of outfits. Just a small tip there.

One thing I'm wondering is are they still on trend for the autumn/winter season? I hope so. Topshop are regularly having new ones in stock so that means that they haven't gone out yet. Always a good thing.

Above is a few hats that are my personal favourate finds. My favourate one is the one top middle one (even though it's a man's hat).

Mixed Dark Straw Trilby - New Look - £8.00
Multi Coloured Trilby Hat - Red Herring - £14.00
Nude Linen Trilby - Miss Selfridge - £18.00
Cream Trilby - Miss Selfridge - £15.00
Feather Trilby - Topshop - £25.00
Straw Trilby - French connection - £30.00

alexander wang

Alexander Wang is one of my favourate designers. His clothes are absolutely amazing and unlike some designers, their wearable. Here are a few outfits from his spring/summer collection.

My favourate ever outfit of his is the one in the first photo. The high waisted shorts are flawless and make the models waist look tiny. The polo top is amazing. The colours are stunning and goes so well with denim blues. I love how he has mixed vertical lines on the shorts with horizontal lines on the tee.  I really want to find an outfit like this on the high street, it's so cute!

The second outfit is also gorgeous. I love the tan leather shorts with the oversized tee. It has knee high gray socks like the first outfit, which gives it a sweet, ditsy look.

The third outfit is very different to the other two and it's what I would call a daring outfit. I just love the edgyness of this outfit and the fact that it's grungy yet worn by a very pretty model. It's very different and I think that's why I love it!

xoxo

shopping list: topshop

Topshop have always been my favourite high street store. They offer a wide range of cutting edge clothes at amazing prices, and one piece has the ability to transform a wardrobe forever.

Here, I've selected a few of my favourite things they have in store at the moment, just to show off how stunning it really is.  My favourate piece is the tattoo print dress. Its absolutely stunning. If you can't see the print properly then go on Topshop.com, search it and zoom in on the dress because the print is amazing! Second, I love the jeans. I'm not a jeans person at all, I actually turned all of my jeans into shorts so I have none, but these jeans I would love to own, (maybe as soon as I get a job). Then third, the shoe boots. How stunning are they?! As soon as I have places to wear heels, I will have to get these.

The tee, bag and jewellery are also some of my other favourate pieces. I own the heart studs and their gorgeous and go with everything and have a vintage look about them. I may consider getting the bag for school. My school uniform is all black so it will brighten it up a bit.

Tattoo Print Babydoll Dress - £45.00
ALLY Shoe Boots - £80.00
Tapestry Box Bag - £30.00
I Love NY Tee by Realitee - £25.00
Ornate Flower Clamp - £20.00
Heart Flower Studs - £6.00
Extreame Ripped Tapered Jeans - £45.00

style stealer: pixie lott

Pixie Lott has come a long way since her career took off last summer, and has been one of the top people in the limelight ever since. And there’s no wonder why she’s in the fashion mags almost every week; her style is pretty great.

So I was asked on formspring  to find an outfit that is similar to Pixie Lott and her boho/festival side. I then found this image of her and realized how badly I want this outfit, so this is what I came up with...

I tried to get it practically identical, sadly I couldn't find any metallic shorts that weren't stupidly expensive, so I thought white would be a good alternative.

Rib Over Knee Socks - Topshop - £6.00
Ruch Front Bandeau Body - Topshop - £12.00
White Destroy Hotpants - Topshop - £15.00 (in sale)
Hunter  Red Wellies - www.javari.co.uk - £60.00
Aviator Sunglasses - River Island - £12.99
Friendship Bands - Topman - £6.00
Mini Sweat Bands - Topman - £5.00

The prices really aren't too bad, the wellies sort of ruin it but you could just get a green pair from your local camping shop for a low price. You could even try cropped wellies, I love them.

xoxo

trend spotter: iridescents

I have been on the lookout for something new, most of the fashion for autumn is really similar to what is in now, but I finally found something that is different.

Style.com think that the tropical/rainbow theme is going to be a big hit, and so do I. It's something bold and it upstages all the calm neutrals and pastels that everyone has been wearing this summer.

The items featured are a Dior watch, which is my favourate of all the pieces but a price has not yet been released, the shoes are Christian Louboutin and cost $3,135.00, the snake skin purse is $950.00 and is by Nancy Gonzalez and then the eye shadow is by MAC and is $19.50.

P.S I tried not to post anything today because I have been non-stop blogging but I couldn't resist.

q&a

"Hi. I'm looking for denim shorts that aren't to pricey. Could you find me some please?"

Ah you couldn't have asked at a better time! All these shorts featured, went on sale this morning in Topshop. They are all £15!

If you like a pair I suggest buying them now because their selling fast. My favourate ones are the two in the middle. The peach ones and the bleached denim ones.

calling all make up lovers

Today, I discovered an amazing website! Basically it has all your basic make up and more for unbelievable prices. I literally couldn't believe some of the prices on there. Also, the delivery price is only £1.50. Yaaaay! Finally, reasonably delivery prices.
This shop is perfect for me because I'm not picky with what brand of make up I wear, as long as I don't look like a tangerine, I'm good.

So the brands on the website I've never really heard of before, so for all I know they may be terrible, but it's worth trying them out for the price anyway. I'm going to buy something from there soon, so I will post my review of the service and quality of the products as soon as possible.

The items that I have featured in this post are the most popular on the website, it's not on what I would wear. I wouldn't buy the foundation because I don't wear foundation but I need a waterproof mascara so I will most probably buy that tomorrow (especially for that price!).

The nail polish, foundation and lip stick shown comes in a variety of different colours or shades.

Technic Moonlit Jade Nail Polish - £1.25
Body Collection Classic Waterproof Mascara - £1.49
Technic Whipped Foundation Mousse - £3.99
Body Collection Classic Lipstick - £1.49

get the look: naturals

I just found this really cute outfit, once again on River Island. For anyone who is obsessed with nudes and natural coloured clothing, I suggest you getting this.

I found the tunic which I absolutely love and thought automatically, nude brogues would go with them perfectly. If the outfit was just that then it would be quite boring, so I thought these pull up's would look gorgeous with them and would make the outfit a little more quirky.
I then stumbled upon this bag which has a snake skin affect and I love the big bold buckle. For jewellery I would suggest the rose necklace I featured in a previous post, and maybe a gold vintage bracelet. I love these gold earrings and they go amazingly with this look because of the pearls.

1*Cream Swing Tunic - £29.99
2*Over The Knee Bow Socks - £4.99
3*Lace Up Brogue - £26.99
4*Cream Cross Body Bag - £24.99
5*Pearl Flower Studs - £4.99

The total cost for this outfit is £91.95 which isn't bad considering most of the things featured you could easily wear with other things. For example the brogues will go with practically anything, the pull up's are perfect for autumn/winter, the bag is cream so will once again go with a lot and could easily be your everyday bag.

shopping list: river island

River Island has always been one of my favourate stores. I don't buy enough from there.

Here are a few things that caught my eye from their summer collection. Everything featured is bright, bubbly and perfect for the summer, wearing any of these items will make a statement! Also something that's strange for River Island is that the prices aren't actually that bad. I even have the necklace featured in the picture.

My favourate item is the sandals. Their not the usual style of shoes that I would wear but I love the chains mixed with the bright colours. My second favourate is the parrot vest which is so, so cute. My third favourate is a draw between the bracelets and the earrings. Their both sweet and ditsy.

1*Grey Parrot Vest - £19.99
2*Beige Cross Body Satchel - £36.99
3*Flower Ring - £7.99
4*Cluster Diamante Studs - £5.99
5*Ditsy Print Bracelets - £7.99
6*Multi Chain T-bar Sandals - £26.99
7*Flower Pendant Necklace - £5.99

marc jacobs fall 2010 collection

Times like these I wish I was rich, seriously!
Marc Jacobs' new collection is fab! I was looking at all his bags and there were only two that I didn't like (they had fur on them, which In my opinion looks terrible on bags). The rest were really beautiful and these were my favourate.

If I could I would get the dark brown leather satchel (middle on the bottom). It would go with practically anything and it is utterly gorgeous. It's got a vintage look to it as well which makes me love it even more.
The classic black quilted bag is my second favourate and then my third is gray bag (top right corner). It's a cute casual bag and the pocket detail is rather funky.

The majority of the bags that have been released are oversized which I'm very pleased with. This means oversized bags are still on trend. Yay! Their great for so many reasons. For example they make you look slimmer and they have room for all your stuff. Genius.

If you have the money, I seriously advise you to purchase one of these bags.

shopping list: nudes

Nude is my favourate colour for clothes and accessories, ever! It's sweet and it's vintage.
All of the pieces here are my favourate from the high street, I literally want them all!

The bag that is featured is a bag that I own, and it goes everywhere with me! I have a few looks with it so if you want to see some more photos of it then I suggest checking out my lookbook.
My two favourate things on here which I am hopefully going to buy are the brogues and the sleeveless shirt. Their both absolutely gorgeous! Also I have been looking for a nude pair of brogues for so long, I have finally found these!

The heels in this are absolutely adorable. Shoes like these make me want to wear heels everyday, if only I had places to wear them. Something else I absolutely love is the wrist bag which is in the top left corner. It would be brilliant for a festival!

The skirt featured is in my opinion, a perfect "work" skirt. Put a white shirt with it and a killer pair of heels and your set. The sunglasses are pretty and the colour is really unique.

The embellished headband is so, so, so stunning. I wish I could pull them off! Sadly I cannot.

1*Wrist Purse - Topshop - £10.00
2*Bow Button Mini Skirt - Topshop - £32.00

owl obsession

My friend has an absolute obsession with owl's, so she asked me if I could do a little research and find the best owl products out right now. I wasn't fussed on "owly" things before, but the things I have found I really like, their a bit scary (the eyes creep me out!) but their still cute. Also an advantage is that all the jewelery on here will basically go with anything.

1*These earrings are gorgeous. I like them because they have a vintage feel to them and the print on there is really cool. They are only £3.50 and are from Miss Selfridge.

2*The owl kirbies are adorable! They are £4.00 from Topshop and in my opinion a great buy.

3*I actually think I may buy this vest. It's once again got a vintage/unique look to it and I love that! It's £16.00 and from Topshop.

4
*This necklace is really pretty. There are also matching earrings next to it. Their articulated and I love the burnished look. The necklace is £7.50 and the earrings are £8.50 and their both once again from Topshop.

5*This ring is my least favourate item, only because the eyes are super creepy! I do like the pearl in the middle though. The ring is £7.50 and from Dorothy Perkins.

straw hat and granny bags

This is just a couple of things that I can't stop wearing this summer. (well I say summer... I mean rainy season). I love my trilby hat. It seems to suit me really well and goes with everything which is always an advantage.
Then there's the really cute bag, but sadly it's my nanny's. I want it so badly though. The little circle on the front is a coin, and I have a little obsession for old coins. It's quite sad actually. Sometimes I go to the museum in Cardiff, just to see the coin collection. Nerdy much?
But yeh that is one of the reasons that I like the bag so much. Also, I like it because I'm sure she bought it for about £1.50 at the charity shop she works in so it's a great bargain, and also, it's very vintage. I loveeee vintage !!

Anyway, this look was quite cute I thought. My new dress. (I put it on brand new this morning, went to McDonald's for breakfast and then I ended up getting maple syrup all down my dress. I have no idea how it happened but oh well.) I like the poofyness of the skirt and the detail at the top. It's almost like a corset which is cute.

Going camping tomorrow, I have chosen very inappropriate outfits, (dresses, playsuits). I need to invest in a wooly jumper !! Will hopefully do a post on that later in the week.

America, America, how i wish to live in your country!

So America has done it again, it has another thing that makes me just want to pack my bags, jump on a plane and get first class tickets to New York!
So I recently had a prom to go to, and I payed £150.00 for a dress that I will never wear again. If only I lived in America.

So renttherunway.com is a website where you basically, rent the runway. It does dresses and even accessories for all occasions for a fraction of the designer price! Weddings, proms, going out, vacations and even casual wear.
Another thing I love about this website is that if you want, they will send you two dresses of different sizes, just to make sure you have a dress to fit you, and this is with no additional cost! The prices I am giving are for four days of renting.

I had a little look around the website and here are a few of my favorites;

1*So this is a "Boho Mary Kate Dress". Honestly, I love it. The print is gorgeous and the gold beading with the button up front is just stunning. The retail price of this dress is $495.00 (£320.00), the rental price is $75.00 (£48.00).

2*This dress would be perfect for a date night or a cocktail party, the colours are bright and would definitely make you stand out. The retail price is $375.00 (£242.00), the rental price is just $50.00 (£32.00) which is brilliant.

3*I love this dress! I swear, if I had the boobs to pull it off (which I don't), I would have rented it from this website for my prom, no matter how much it cost. In my eye's its the perfect prom dress. The website suggests to wear it as a bridesmaid dress, but I think its to revealing for that, as all the attention should be on the bride, not the bridesmaids boobs. Anyway the retail price of this dress is $630.00 (£407.00) and the rental price is $100.00 (£65.00), which is an amazing price!!

4*Now the accessories on this website are really cheap but they look super expensive which is great. This necklace is super cute and very in right now. It's just too pretty. The retail price is $150.00 (£97.00) and it's rental price is $15.00 (£10.00), which is amazing !!!

5*It was really hard choosing a bracelet of the website. There were so many and they were all different and really cheap. It actually amazed me. I love this eighteen karet gold bracelet because I've never seen something like it before, it's unique and I loveeee unique! This bracelet retails for $340.00 (£220.00) and the rental price is $45.00 (£29.00) and for eighteen karet gold, that's a good price!

6*So as you can tell, I'm obsessed with the accessories on this website, these earrings are so fabulous! They have a vintage look to them and once again, I've never seen anything like them before so their unique. These clip on earrings with genuine pearls and crystals retail for $198.00 (£128.00) and the rental price is only $35.00 (£23.00) which isn't that bad at all.
